You are a self described problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and process. You will be responsible for the creation of electrical and control systems as well as performing site commission of StrongPoint solutions. Key function includes: Installation, troubleshooting and repair of computer hardware and software Set-up and diagnostics of industrial networks: ControlNet, DeviceNet and EtherNet. Proficiency in RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 and RSView32 and Fanuc RJ3iB and RJ3iC controllers is essential. Must be able to assist in the implementation, upgrading and debugging of software applications. Test and troubleshoot variable speed AC drive systems. Perform various troubleshooting and repairs of electrical equipment. Interpret schematic diagrams and construct related circuits for motor control applications. Assembly and commissioning of equipment on site: including electrical and control components. Attend service calls as required. Troubleshoot electrical and control systems, at times working in conjunction with internal and external customers to implement solutions. Complete service reports with the technical information required. Previous experience with factory automation solutions is essential. REQUIREMENTS: A college diploma in Electrical Technology or University Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 3-4 years of experience in PLC and Fanuc robotics is required. Extensive PLC troubleshooting skills and an in-depth knowledge of Allen Bradley – Rockwell Software: RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 and RSView32. Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
